This is a yearly festival in Indonesia, where the contestants, meditate to a state where by they

DO NOT  feel pain, apparently there is little or no blood either, and the wound heals very quickly.
I find it a little hard to believe personally, but the human mind is a very powerful tool, more powerful than we realize.
